Minarex
Aromatic process oil
Minarex aromatic oil is processed for the tyre, rubber and printing-ink industries. Three grades are produced, each with a production capacity at the refinery of 12,000–20,000 tonnes per year.

In rubber products, Minarex:
- Improves the softening and expansion of rubber.
- Reduces the viscosity of rubber compounds.
- Gives better compound homogeneity.
- Makes the final product more flexible.
- Improves PVC flow, allowing it to flow below its melting point.
Paraffinic oil
Paraffinic process oil
Produced at Refinery Unit IV Cilacap from paraffinic stock, composed of paraffinic hydrocarbons with small amounts of naphthenic and aromatic hydrocarbons.

Used in rubber products:
- As a wrapping for seat covers, thermal rubber and synthetic-rubber polymer sheets.
- As a process extender for natural rubber, and as a base oil for printing ink.
